Stored Payments

SOLO uses stored payments to hold account information for use with recurring billing. Depending on the merchant account settings regarding saving credit card data and the merchant account type, either reference information linking to a previous transaction is stored (a reference type payment), or full credit card details (a credit card payment) are stored:

 

When adding or editing a stored payment, the following fields will be displayed regardless of whether the using reference or credit card payments. When editing an existing credit card payment, they will be pre-populated with the existing data (note that the card number and expiration may not be populated in the case the card number was permanently masked due to the payment plan being inactive):

 

After submitting changes when adding/editing a stored payment, a test authorization will be performed to verify the card data.  If this transaction fails, an error message with the reason for the failure will be displayed.  If the test succeeds:
